Fantasy championships aren’t given to the teams with the best talent, so you take the stats wherever you can get them for however long they last. Every team is going to need some help during the season and the teams that can work the wavier wire the best will have a big advantage.
So this first asignment is to find and ride the hot bat from a pool of players that are likely to be free agents in fantasy leagues at the begining of the 2011 season. For each of the four full weeks in April each contestant will select three batters and the selections that amass the most home runs at the end of the month will win a shiny $50 Amazon gift card. Contestants can keep players that they’ve already selected for the subsequent week, but be aware that the pool of new choices will change if we sense that players become more popular in fantasy leagues. Picks are due at midnight eastern standard time each Saturday night in April. |
